Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Several areas in the nature conservation area 'Sylter Au?enriff' have been mapped using Sidescan Sonar and Chirp echosounder. Additionally, box corer samples have been taken for ground-truthing purposes. At two sites the seafloor has been visually examined by a ROV system. The main objective of this cruise was the mapping of seafloor surface sediments.
