Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Expedition M192-2 is based on the findings from the first le (M192-1), which mappes bathymetry and gas seeping in areas southeast and northwest of the Greek island Milos. These maps were used to sample areas of hydrothermal activity, using the Van Veen grab, the multicorer and the remote operated vehicle (ROV) MARUM SQUID. In addition the CTD water sampler rosette was used to sample hydrothermal plumes.
