Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The cruise is part of the International ICES coordinated Mackerel and horse mackerel egg survey. To collect mackerel eggs in the spawning areas of the North Sea spawning population. The Dutch participation is in usually in May and June and covers the central and northern North Sea. Data is used for the assessment of the mackerel North Sea spawning stock.
