Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The research cruise STRAP2021 was carried out 21.10.-01.11.2021 as part of the WTD 71 research project No. 1.2 "sediment transport processes". The survey area was located in the Jade estuary inside/close to Tankerreede Schillig. Objectives were bottom boundary processes (tidal currents, turbulence, sediment mobility and sampling, scour and burial of objects at the seafloor, morphodynamics), oceanic micro structure (MSS vertical profiling) and seafloor mapping (SSS, MBES, SBP). Note: By general order of director WTD 71 the cruise data are not public release. They may be available on request.
