Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The research cruise Seafloor2021 was carried out as part of the WTD 71 research project No. 1.3 "Seafloor characterization". The main survey area was near the coastal city of Schleimunde. Here sidescan-sonar surveys with a Klein 3000 system and sub-bottom profiling with the research vessels own sub-bottom profiler Innomar SES2000 was carried out. At selected locations samples of the sediment were taken with a Van Veen type grab. At the same locations sediment penetration measurements were carried out with penetrometers of type GraviProbe. A single sediment core was taken in the second survey area in Lubeck by. Note: By general order of director WTD 71 the cruise data are not public release. They may be available on request
