Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

Primary objectives of the PaGoDe-project are geophysical investigations (1) to study the fluid migration, sealing and bypass sys-tem for hydrocarbons and CO2 by seismic reflection data, and (2) to refine the seismo-stratigraphic framework for the evolutions of Silurian carbonate-dominated marginal deposits and barrier reefs. A secondary objective is to investigate the bathymetry and morphogenesis of the study area re-garding the discrimination between glacial erosion, glacial deposits and tectonics. Methods applied are multi-channel seismics, parametric echo sounding (Parasound), multi-beam (Simrad EM710) and gravity. During 21 working days ca. 4750 km of geophysical data were acquired
