Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
CE19002 - Monitoring of nutrients, trace metals, artificial radioactivity and organic contaminants load in the water column of the German Bight and western Baltic Sea(German EEZ only), 53 water sampling sites. CTD profiles were measured at all water sampling sites. Water samples to detect artificial radioactivity were taken from the seawater pipe (deck). Continuous salinity, temperature and fluorescence measurements during the entire cruise. Sediment samples for the determination of trace metal burden in surface sediments and radioactivity in sediment cores were taken with the small Box Corer at 34 stations.
