Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Main purpose: sampling of about 20 - 30 small intact specimens of the soft coral Alcyonium digitatum (Dead man's finger) for laboratory experiments planned to investigate effects of ocean acidification on the metabolism (respiration and fitness) of this important species in the Kattegat. Moreover, other invertebrates were collected for reasons of public outreach (aquarium and open ship).
