Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Build up underwater MANET with up to 3 AUVs, buoys and bottom nodes. Development of a robust network protocol for delay-tolerant networking (DTN) in order to cope with intermittent communication conditions, such as for a data-mule AUV. Improved Medium Access Control (MAC) protocols, e.g. using network node localisation for optimal scheduling and collision avoidance. Better scalable and more robust network-layer protocols, e.g. using geographic routing and network coding
