Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
This cruise is aimed to (1) investigate the abundances and distribution of the demersal fish fauna in the vicinity of the research platform FINO3, (2) to improve the understanding of the physical (abiotic) processes that exert a control on the temporal and spatial distribution of zooplankton and nekton in the pelagic zone, and (3) to analyse the distribution patterns by survey data and concurrent time series of meteorological, oceanographic, optical and hydroacoustic measurements.
