Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The old FFK "Clupea" is replaced by the new FFS "Clupea". Object of this trip was to compare the number of species, the catch sizes and fish sizes in the trawl catches of the two vessels. Each vessel used it's special standard trawl gear. With FFK "Clupea" were fewer species caught and smaller catches achieved. The numbers of individuals were on the FFK compared to FFS (100%) cod 38,7 % cod, plaice 18,5 %,flounder 25.1% and sculpin 31.9%. In the comparison of the sizes of caught cod was a length dependence found.
