Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
1.) Providing concentration data for CO2, nutrients and O2/H2S in the major basins of the Baltic Sea for the validation of a biogeochemical carbon cycle model and for the establishment of process parameterizations. 2.)Sampling of sediment corres for the determination of the carbon reflux at the sediment surface. 3.) Deployment of a mooring that carries a winch and senors for high resolution recording of the profiles of T, S, O2, pH and the redox potential. 4.) Thermographic measurements of the heat transfer across the surface water microlayer as a tracer for the gas exchange at the sea surface.
