Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
to study the water mass distribution and circulation in the subpolar North Atlantic to estimate the production rate of LSW to measure the transport in the deep western boundary current at 47?N off Newfoundland an through Flemish Pass to study transport fluctuations in the Newfoundland basin across 47?N to measure the subpolar gyre and the deep water masses crossing the MAR between 47N and 53N to recover/deploy three moorings in the western boundary at 47?N to deploy eight moorings across the Charlie Gibbs Fracture Zone to recover/deploy three moorings west of the Faraday Fracture Zone
