Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

The main purpose of the cruise was the trial of a profiling mooring. The replacement of a sediment trap mooring and the test of in situ Fe(II) analysers were further objectives. After ca. 48 hours we reached the research area and deployed the profiling mooring. A CTD station followed and then the sediment trap mooring was recovered. A further CTD station followed before the sediment trap mooring was deployed again. Three CTD casts were carried out over the night, the later two deployments were carried out with the Fe(II) analyser mounted on the CTDs rosette. For these the CTD was stopped at several depths for longer time intervalls.
