Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Baltic Sea monitoring according to the HELCOM COMBINE programme dealing with physical, chemical and biological parameters of the water column with emphasis on phyto- and zooplankton monitoring. In addition to the monitoring work, Baltix.c Zooplankton Expert Network held a workshop for sampling and intercalibration of HELCOM zooplankton monitoring. TROFIA 06 cruise continued intensive sampling of phytoplankton and micro- and mesozooplankton in Gulf of Finland for food web interactions studies.
