Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
one of a series of interdisciplinary geo-archaelogical cruises to study the Litorina transgression in the southern Baltic Sea and its impact on prehistoric settlements and development of the regional economic area Main tasks: Search for outcrops of organic sediment layers at the sea bottom, especially with plant remnants, using sidescan sonar surveys and underwater videocamera surveys. Search for archaelogical artefacts.
