Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The goal of the investigations was to protect cod while fishing flatfish. A top reduced bottom trawl was tested. The trials carried out by the method of alternated hauls to compare the catches of the reduced and the completed trawl. The top reduced trawl was completed with a interchangeable netsquare to get the capture results of a normal entire bottom trawl.
