Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
In the cruise studied nutrient fluxes in the water-sediment interface and collected sediment samples for the studies of nutrient and metals sediment processes. Nutrient and oxygen condition in the water column were studied as well. During the cruise structure of basement sediments were studied by echo sounding. Additionally long sediment cores were collected to study long term historical changes. The cruise was a joint cruise of the Geological Survey of Finland (GSF), the University of Turku (TU), the Helsinki University (HU) and the Geological Survey of France (BRGM).\n
