Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Two chief scientists on this cruise: Arill Eng?s and John W. Valdemarsen (Institue of Marine Research). Develop a new demersal survey trawl. A. Performance testing of a prototype trawl design, including rigging of new trawl doors. The tests included measurments with Scanmar trawl instrumentation and observations with video cameras. B. Comparative fishing with the new trawl design and the standard demersal survey trawl (Campelen 1800).
