Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Within the Mecklenburg Bight at the Monitoring station 018 a sampling by van Veen grab was carried out. The second part of the cruise was used to investigate the macrozoobenthos of the Pomeranian Bight. At 30 stations the macrozoobenthos were investigated by routine benthic programme. At each station 3 van Veen grabs, 1 dredge and video imaging were used. The aim of this study was the assessment of a potential region (Oderbank) for marine protected areas in order of the German Environmental Ministry. Furthermore the date should used for assessment of long term changes within the Pommeranian Bay.
