Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Hydrographic section across the North Atlantic (already performed in 2002 and 2004) for transport and water mass variability, and recovery of 4 currentmeter moorings on the East Greenland slope at 60?N placed there to study the East Greenland Current variability. Data collected: 120 stations with temperature, salinity, oxygen and LADCP profiles and biogeochemical tracer sampling; on the way: 16 ARGO profilers deployed, 3 microstrucuture profiles, a full Ship ADCP dataset (down to 800m), 48 XBT launched, 2 years of mooring data (15 currentmeter, 1 ADCP and 4 S/T/P sensors).
