Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

Main goal of the project SEACAUSE is to gain insight in the natural hazards potential for the Sunda-arc subduction zone and to gather data which will be needed for the implementation of the German-Indonesian Tsunami Early Warning System (GI-TEWS). Main work done during the cruise was bathymetric mapping as well as magnetic and gravimetric measurements.
