Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The cruise is part of the ICES International Herring Larvae Surveys (IHLS) in 2005. The main aim is to estimate the distribution and abundance of herring larvae for assessment purposes. The samples are taken on a standard station grid by a modified GULF III plankton sampler (Nackthai). Stations are 10 nm apart.
