Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Two chief scientists on this cruise: Asgeir Aglen (IMR) and Sigbjoern Mehl (IMR). Annual acoustic survey to: -Map distribution and estimate abundance at age of coastal cod, saithe, haddock and 0-group herring. -Estimate length and weight at age of cod, saithe and haddock. -Collect stomach samples of saithe and cod. -Map the general hydrographic regime by regular ctd stations and hydrographic transects. -Zoo- and phytoplankton sampling on hydrographic transects. -Sampling of fish for contamination analyses. -Water sampling on transects for nutrition and phytoplankton analyses.
