Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

The cruise can be divided into three main parts dedicated to one course and two different projects: a) The UiB, Dept. of Earth Science marine geological field course GEOL201. b) Mapping the bottom topography and the stratigraphy of the Hardangerfjord sediments (sedimentary processes and deglaciation history): (SOP-project). c) Physical oceanographic measurements of the Hardangerfjord hydrographic system (seasonalmeasurements along eight fixed transects). (NFR-project).
