Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Monitoring of the soft bottom macrofauna in the open parts of the Danish waters in order to detect potential effects of eutrophication on community structure, abundance and biomass. The result of this activity are reported to HELCOM and the data are stored in NERI's marine database. Beside the monitoring sampling, the depth of the sulphide front in the sediment was determined at 10 stations in the southern Little Belt. Zoobenthos samples excist from these stations, but have not yet been analysed. Depth of sulphide front was also determined at all the monitoring stations.
