Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Two chief scientists at this cruise: Jens Christian Holst (IMR) and Kjell Nedreaas (IMR). One of five research vessels (three Norwegian and two Russian) in the annual ecosystem survey covering the Barents Sea and Svalbard areas, including distribution and abundance estimation of herring in the northeastern Norwegian Sea. Also including oceanographic transects on the way from Bergen to the Barents Sea.
