Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The geological survey can be divided into three main parts dedicated to three different projects: a) mapping, dating and volume estimates of the deglaciation in Nordfjord, W-Norway (SEDITRANS). b) mapping the Storegga Slide headwall, south of Ormen Lange (EUROMARGIN). c) mapping the configuration and timing of the British and the Fennoscandioan ice sheets in the central North Sea and the potential melt delivery events at the end of the last glaciation (RAPID).
