Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
An annual acoustic survey in the spawning area of blue whiting, west of the British Isles. The objectives are: 1) Estimation of the size of blue whiting spawning stock with acoustic methods. 2) Collecting biological measurements on blue whiting. 3) Measuring acoustic target strength of blue whiting. 4) Hydrographic observations.
