Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

To determine the inflow of South Atlantic Water into the Caribbean through the Windward Island passages, to recover 3 geostrophic moorings (CARIBA array) , which estimate the net inflow through the passages and recover 2 Inverted Echo Sounders with high precision bottom pressure sensors (PIES) to study th spreading of deep water along the western boundary and its exchange with the interior along a section at 16?N and at 64?W?
