Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The cruise aimed at a basinwide study of the subinertial part of the stratification and circulation in the eastern Gotland Basin by means of repeated current and CTD profile measurements at a corresponding station grid. The instrument used was a lowered Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler attached to the frame of the CTD which measured in parallel during each cast. The profiling measurements were repeated at each station 7 hours (half an inertial period) after the first measurements.
