Geophysical surveys and geological sampling of the water column, of surface sediments as well as sediment cores along the continental margin of southeast Africa - southwestern Indian Ocean. Data collection: Geophysics: Hydroacoustic surveys with PARASOUND and HYDROSWEEP, Multichannel seismics; Water column: water pumping during the cruise, CTD, rosette water sampler, ADCP, thermosalinograph, Atmosphere: aerosol sampling, Sea floor: sampling of sediments by multicorer and gravity corer
