Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
In the assessment work on plaice and cod in the North Sea there is a great need for improved knowledge on the timing and distributioin of the spawning of these stocks. A research programme on plaice and cod spawning has been initiated by ICES, and participants from England, Germany, Holland, Norway and Denmark carried out an internationally coordinated survey programme in the spring of 2004. In this programme Denmark covered the north-eastern North Sea during a survey dating from 25/2 to 7/3 2004.
