Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The purpose of the cruises was to obtain synoptic hydrographic and ADCP sections of the Fehmarn Belt, of the Kadett Ridge and a zonal section in the western Baltic. A mooring site at the southeastern opening of the Fehmarn Belt was maintained. The mooring site (V431) consists of a Workhorse-ADCP (300 kHz), and a self containing CTD (Type MicroCat) mounted in a commercial shield (Flotation Technology).
