Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

GLOBEC Project: The project aims for a better understanding of the interactions between zooplankton and fish under the influence of physical processes in order to elucidate the principal mechanisms accounting for the high variability of copepod production and of reproductive success of fishes. Water samples, rosette, CTD, fluorescence probe, plankton nets (Bongo, WP-2, Nansen, IKS-80, Kiel Mulitnet), Isaacs-Kid-Midwater-Trawl - IKMT (for nekton and macro-zoobenthos).
