Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Hydrographic observations of the fresh water mass and adjacent water masses in the East Greenland Current (EGC) in the area of 74?N as part of the SFB 512, E2 programme. Service of current meter and tube moorings in the EGC at 74?N. The main goal of SFB 512, E2, is to understand how changes in the outflows of the Arctic Ocean/Nordic Seas system correlate with measured changes in the East Greenland Current. Data collection: CTD, time series of velocities, temperature, salinity and pressure and ships born ADCP.
