Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
This CYVOS-MFS cruise is one of several XBTs cruises of the MFSTEP-Mediterranean Forecasting System Towards Environmetal Pretictions Project carried out monthly from September 2004 to May 2004, aimed at obtaining XBTs profiles along the track Limassol (Cyprus) - Port Said (Egypt) at the SE Levantine Basin, Eastern Mediterranean Sea. The XBTs data were subject to QC procedures following the MEDAR/MEDATLAS II requirements.
