Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
To determine the inflow of South Atlantic Water into the Caribbean through the Windward Island passages, to recover and redeploy 3 geostrophic moorings (CARIBA array) , which estimate the net inflow through the passages and recover and redeploy two Inverted Echo Sounders with high precision bottom pressure sensors (PIES) to study th spreading of deep water along the western boundary and its exchange with the interior along a section at 16?N and at 10?N to deploy two PIES at 16?N complementing the Kiel MOVE array
