-- to study the equatorial current field and the characteristic of the water masses by CTDO, CFCs, and ADCPs along 34?W -- to study the export of deep water from the western in the eastern Atlantic through the 7?30'N fracture zone by shipboard measurements and moored instruments -- to study the water mass circulation and characteristic along 16?N -- to study the inflow of southern hemispheric water into the Caribbean through the passages between Guadeloupe and Grenada
