Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

The main purposes of the eigthth cruise were: - to carry out a seasonal hydrological survey; - to achieve time series collection of downward particle fluxes and current measurements (2 recovery and 1 deployment of moorings); - to carry out in-situ primary production measurements and short-term export experiments from the photic layer with drifting traps in different areas.
