Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

The cruise was devoted to the EU-MAST Project VEINS (Variability of Exchanges in the Northern Seas). The specific tasks were to repeat the VEINS-hydrographic sections between Denmark-Strait and Cap Farwell and to recover and redeploy the set of 8 VEINS-moored arrays of current meters, inverted echo sounders and acoustic doppler current profilers over the SE-Greenland slope.
