Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
At 11 stations in the Szczecin Lagoon (Poland), we took sediment samples from the surface layer (0 to 2cm), short sediment cores (0 to 50cm) and long sediment cores (0 to 4m). The samples were later investigated in the laboratories of the cooperation partners for sedimentology, paleontology, geochemistry and mineralogy to reconstruct the holocene, paleogeographical history and sedimentology of the lagoon.
