Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
In the frame of a training course for students, realized from scientists of the IOW from 9.2. till 12.2.99, daily cruises in the coastal area in front of Warnemunde (monitoring stations: 40, 41, 42, 43, 44) were performed with the research vessel "Prof. A. Penck". The aim of these courses were the demonstration of sampling methods and the handling of the samples for physical, chemical, biological and geological investigations. At each day, the cruise started at 8a.m. and lasted to 5p.m.. 13 students and 2-4 scientists and technicians participated at the cruise each day.
