Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The purpose of the cruise was the participation in the international hydroacoustic survey on atlanto-scandian herring (norwegian spring spawning herring) for assessing the stock biomass and age composition as well as the migration route. On the survey norwegian, russian, faeroese, icelandic and the german vessels participated.
