Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
One of a series of marine geology cruises to study the processes controlling the refilling of sediment extraction sites in coastal waters of the North Sea and the Baltic. Main tasks: Seismic surveying of the extraction site "Westerland II" (North Sea), sampling of surface sediments for ground truthing.
