Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

The main purposes of the fifth cruise were: - to carry out a seasonal hydrological survey; - to achieve time series collection of donwward particle fluxes and current measurements (recovery and deployment of 6 moorings); - to investigate the Sediment Oxigen Demand, the organic matter mineralization rate and the sediment-water exchange of nutrients; to sample sediment for geochemical analyses.
