Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The principle objectives of the cruise were to investigate the distribution of dense bottom water flown into the Arkona Basin early November 1998 over the Darss Sill, to study the motions of the pool of dense bottom water under the action of the local wind, to study the outflow of dense bottom water from the Arkona Basin to the Bornholm Basin.
