Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Within the EU funded project CANIGO and the German-Spanish observations at the time series station ESTOC (60 n. miles north of Gran Canaria and Tenerife), -to observe and measure the regional and time variability of hydrographic parameters and currents, -to observe and measure the flux of particles and geochemical parameters in the water column using vessel mounted and moored instrumentation. The cruise was divided into two parts calling port of Las Palmas 25.-26.6.98. The cruise was the fourth in a series of seasonally distributed cruise: M37/2 in January 1997; Poseidon P233 and P237 in Septembre 1997 and April 1998, respectively.
