Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The objectives of the cruise were to achieve data sets for studies of the undermost atmospheric boundary layer combined with sea surface roughness. Measurements in 4 different heights up to 18,6m were performed utilizing a special drifting buoy system and by sensors on board "Planet". The results serve as a basis for modelling radar propagation in the undermost layer and radar sea clutter.
