Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
One of a series of seasonal oceanographical cruises in order to study the hydrology of the South Aegean Sea and the Straits of the Cretan Arc. In addition, current meter were deployed across the Straits of the Cretan Arc in order to detect exchanges of water masses between South Aegean Sea and Eastern Mediterranean Basin.
